Dear European Forum members and friends,
We know many of you have waited for this moment! After successfully running two Mentoring Programme rounds in 2014-2019, the Forum is finally launching the Mentoring Programme 3.0!
Are you working on something in LGBTI+ Christian activism that you would appreciate support with during the next 1,5 years? Are you considering starting a group, taking on a new task or continuing with a task you would want a fresh perspective on?
What is your area of experience and expertise? Would you love to share it and accompany somebody from a different region and context for the next 1,5 years?
Consider applying for a tandem partner in our Mutual Mentoring Programme!
You may feel that your call for learning is stronger than your call for sharing or vice versa, but we invite you to think about both sides/ perspectives – tell us what you need and what you might bring to the table. So finally we will do our best to find optimal matches, based on your background and the languages you prefer to speak with a partner.
The Mentoring Programme will start in May 2024 in Varese (immediately after the Forum’s conference) and continue until December 2025.
The programme will include:
- talks in mutual mentoring tandems at least once a month for an hour or two (online),
- a visit to a tandem partner, accompanying them when they visit you, and a small-scale common project,
- some in-person meetings (Varese Forum 2024, a midterm meeting in February 2025 and a closing meeting in the last months of 2025),
- a couple of common sharing & learning spaces on Zoom,
- a bit of time dedicated to writing an evaluation of the process.
